Love Written in Ink

18 September

Today I was listening to a song I've listened to a thousand times before: Beautiful Exchange. And as I was singing, imagining my Savior, the lyrics hit me as if He said it right to my face, "There is nothing that can take this love away."
That's everything for me. I can't tell you how many times I've loved and that human love has been snatched right out from under my feet. It's my biggest fear, but it's also the biggest place where God shows me His goodness; because no matter what, He will never stop loving me. There's nothing I can do and there's nothing someone else can do that will change that.

“I’ll never forget the trouble, the utter lostness, the taste of ashes, the poison I’ve swallowed. I remember it all—oh, how well I remember— the feeling of hitting the bottom. But there’s one other thing I remember, and remembering, I keep a grip on hope:

GOD ’s loyal love couldn’t have run out, his merciful love couldn’t have dried up. They’re created new every morning. How great your faithfulness! I’m sticking with GOD (I say it over and over). He’s all I’ve got left.” - Lamentations 3:19-24 (MSG)
